Celebrating Excellence: Azerbaijan State University of Economics • UNEC Receives FIBAA Programme Accreditation for Three Master's Degree Programs!
On December 17, 2024, the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) celebrated a remarkable achievement — the official awarding of the FIBAA Programme Accreditation certificates for its three master’s degree programs in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.
These programs have been granted unconditional accreditation for a full five-year period, a testament to UNEC's dedication to quality education and alignment with international standards.
The official ceremony was graced by key representatives from state education authorities and the university’s leadership. During the event, there was a productive exchange of ideas about the future of higher education at UNEC.
🔹 Ulker Sattarova, Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, highlighted the significance of UNEC's efforts to strengthen its international relations.
🔹 Professor Adalat Muradov, Rector of UNEC, emphasized the pride that comes with achieving international accreditation, noting that it reaffirms UNEC's commitment to global quality standards.
🔹 Tural Ahmadov, Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, underscored the role of accreditation in furthering UNEC's internationalization and development.
FIBAA Managing Director, Freiberger Diane, took the stage to discuss the perspectives of international program accreditation for Azerbaijani higher education institutions. As a member of ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, FIBAA remains committed to promoting excellence, transparency, and employability in higher education.
